Vic: Man found guilty after slavery accusations
A man accused of keeping a woman as a slave has been found guilty of 42 charges in
a Victorian court today.
GRAEME JOHN SLATTERY, aged 42, formerly of Warrnambool, has been found guilty in the
County Court at Ballarat of 22 counts of assault, 10 counts of intentionally causing injury,
eight counts of indecent assault, one count of threatening serious injury, and one count
of blackmail.
SLATTERY had pleaded not guilty to 69 offences alleged to have occurred between 1996 and 1999.
